About Us

     Hi! I'm Matt, the founder of My Custom Coffee. In some ways, this began in 2013 when I learned how to Photoshop in high school. It was a fun hobby that allowed me to create whatever came to mind, whether it was fun, formal, for a class project, or to see if it could be done. Through years of mistakes, lessons, and experience, it's a skill that, although not formally educated in, became helpful in many ways. After graduating high school, my interest in coffee began and grew exponentially. I worked as an emergency medical technician for years and joined the U.S. Army, which grew my love for coffee even more, and it gave me peers who appreciated my love for coffee. After returning from Afghanistan in 2020, my passion for brewing turned to roasting, and I've been professionally roasting coffee since with our main business, Cleona Coffee Roasters. 
 
     My passion for coffee roasting and graphic design didn't intersect initially; a random idea turned into My Custom Coffee. Coffee is exciting and delicious and draws people together over good times and bad times. Not only did I want my coffee to taste excellent and comfort those in any mood, but I also wanted it to be customizable, sharable, and sentimental. Whether you need one bag or three hundred, we are here for any occasion you can imagine, and we want nothing more than for you to brew your story.
 
     As you'll see on our website, we have four ways to customize your coffee: prebuilt templates, prebuilt templates with slight customization, an interactive label builder, and an option to have our graphic design team bring your ideas to life. Please note that we do not discriminate based on age, gender, religion, political views, and ethnicity. We welcome you to design what makes you happy, but please note that we have the right to cancel or request changes to a design if it is violent in nature or contains illegal activity.
